Please do merge this with self-energy (and put in a redirect from this page), because mass renormalization and self-energy renormalization are two terms for the same thing. The self-energy article is currently more general, so if the merge goes forward, the mass renormalization content should perhaps be inserted as a subsection. The current mass renormalization article contains important details that the self-energy article does not. HEL 14:12, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
